We always look forward to Ruth Lambert’s legislative updates, filled with inside information and delivered with her inimitable style and humor. Ruth became fixated on Arizona state legislation at the end of the Obama presidency. She had a surface understanding of state government from the other 7 states where she had lived before moving to Arizona in 2004. Her obsession in Arizona started as a one-time, self-directed field trip to the capitol to check that task off her bucket list. It quickly became a compulsion as she continued to return to the state capitol daily over 10 years trying to make sense of the partisan shenanigans on display. Her quest to understand the ‘sausage making’ techniques of creating Arizona statute continues. She is a Precinct Committee-person, active with Save Our Schools Arizona and is on the Moms Demand Action Legislative Team. So Local Jonny's can staff appropriately. $5 Cover charge to offset event costs Delicious food & drink available for purchase!
